This year we have a preregistration on the web for the annual auction.

The functionality is now open and ready for you to register.

Everyone preregistered whether buyer or seller will just have to pickup their registration package upon arrival at the event.

You gain access from our club website http://www.jefcoaeromodlers.org and use the link in the announcement or the menu item on the left of the screen that will get you into this new capability.

Why preregister?

1. Avoid filling out forms at the auction.

2. Avoid standing on line to pay your event fee.

3. Advertise to a wider audience.

4. Use the system managed worksheet with your items to keep track of your items at the event.

All this helps you and creates interest from those from the outside that will attend our event.

You remain anonymous to the public through the process - your name will not appear in conjunction with the items.

You may list items and revise your list by adding or withdrawing items if you need to right up until the start of the event.

You may provide pictures of the items and also post Minimum and Buy It Now pricing as well.

Any information entered can still be updated at the event if need be.

Help support our major fund raiser - preregister now!

FYI -This is being sent to you because you participated last year and we want you to know about this before the general public.

If you encounter any problems with the process or need some assistance please let me know.

February flying

Why fly Colorado Springs, CO? Why not! The picture above was taken on a very pleasant day in February. As you can see, there is plenty of snow on Pikes Peak in the background, yet club member Rob W. escorts his Stearman back to the pits in shorts(!). Club member Mike E. assists.

Outdoor RC in the Pikes Peak region is a year round activity. There are occasional days where snow on the tarmac prevents flying, but those days are few and far between.

Want a challenge? Come out and fly at 6500'. We do, and have a BLAST doing so.
